After receiving classes for over a year in the authentic method, he was so impressed with the results that he decided to enroll in the prestigious training program to become an instructor, studying under the legendary\u00a0<strong>Romana Kryzanowska<\/strong>\u00a0and her daughter Sari Mej\u00eda Santo in New York. After receiving his certification, he stayed on with them for over two additional years to learn more, teaching at the New York studio and assisting his <em>maestras<\/em> in presenting instructor training seminars internationally.<\/p><p>In late 1999, he decided to return to Spain, his home country, with Esperanza Aparicio Romero. It was a best-seller not only in Spain but also in all of Spanish-speaking America. The book describes how to perform the mat exercises correctly and safely in great detail. It has since been translated to Portuguese.<\/p><p>In 2013, they published a collection of seven e-books through Haka Books under the general title of <a href=\"https:\/\/javierppilates.com\/libros\/?vp_filter=portfolio_category%3Acontrology-pilates-physical-culture\"><strong>\u201cContrology Pilates Physical Culture\u201d<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0covering the work using the apparatuses invented by Joe Pilates. Originally published in Spanish, it has been translated to both English and Portuguese.<\/p><p>In the same year, they also published the first biography ever written about the inventor of the method and the apparatuses.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/javierppilates.com\/porfolio\/hubertus-joseph-pilates-la-biografia\/\"><strong><em>Hubertus Joseph Pilates.<\/em><\/strong><strong><em> La Biograf\u00eda<\/em><\/strong><\/a> marked a before and after in the body of knowledge about the creator of Contrology. An exhaustive work that debunks nearly all the myths about his work and life, it brings us the fascinating true story of Joe Pilates&#8217;s life. Originally published in Spanish, it has been translated to English and Italian.<\/p><p>Today, Javier P\u00e9rez Pont is a Level 1X instructor in the\u00a0<strong>Romana\u2019s Pilates International<\/strong>\u00a0organization, in addition to being regional director for Spain, Portugal, and South and Central America. He continues to speak on Contrology at conferences and present workshops all over the world, with the mission of preserving the legacy of Romana Kryzanowska in its original form <a
